Content provider guidelines as at 1st May 2025
These Content Provider Guidelines form part of the Content Provider Agreement between
you and Tellimer. All capitalised terms not otherwise defined here shall have the
meanings ascribed to them in that agreement. As a Content Provider on the Tellimer
Platform, you are required to adhere to the following Content Provider Guidelines, and
your continued participation as a Content Provider depends on you doing so:
- Content delivered to the Tellimer Platform should be factual, economic and/or analytical
in nature;
- Content should be delivered in a timely manner and in line with the frequency stipulated
in the Content Provider Agreement;
- Content must be free from partisan political opinions, advocacy, or commentary.
Political analysis must be factual, balanced, and relevant to the investment thesis or
economic context.
- Content must not include language or imagery that is offensive, inflammatory, or
discriminatory on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, nationality, sexual
orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
- Content should reflect a measured, analytical tone, focused on delivering value to
professional readers without personal bias, derogatory remarks, or unsubstantiated
generalisations.
- Analysts must comply with applicable regulations, ethical codes, and internal editorial
policies of their Content Provider, including those related to market abuse, fairness,
and regulatory compliance.
- Analysts must keep records of the sources and information used to make recommendations
so that there is evidence should it be required;
- Content Providers are responsible for managing conflicts of interest, including by
maintaining appropriate information and separation barriers between individuals involved
in the production of research and those involved in trading or broking (where and as
applicable);
- You must inform Tellimer promptly if you are the subject of any regulatory
investigations or inquiries that may compromise your activity as a Content Provider or
risk a compromise to Tellimer or its clients;
- You must not directly or indirectly offer favourable research, a specific rating, or a
specific recommendation as consideration or inducement for the receipt of business or
compensation or at the request of any client;
- Content must not include any advertisements for your or third-party services, nor be a
"Financial Promotion" or "Advertisement", as each are defined in the UK Financial
Conduct Authority Handbook Glossary.
