Turkish equities got rocked by the tensions between Russia & Ukraine and the BIST-100 index got a circuit breaker 20 minutes before market close as all large caps got circuit breakers when the Russian RTS index was down 7%. The evening session at the futures market also started limit down but recovered before the close. Many single stock short positions were not closed with the sudden close of the market.

Russian RTS futures have recovered 220 points from their lows, hence we could see a rebound back from yesterday's lows. Still need to be very cautious as the news flow from Russia-Ukraine will be dominating the short-term sentiment.
