Turkey: We expect a flat opening

  • Eyes will be on NFP data in US today

BIST 100 broke 3,500 resistance level yesterday yet foreign investors share in the market keep declining. Last week foreign investors were net sellers for USD 300mn in equities. For the first time after many years their share fell below 32% level. Eyes will be on NFP data in US today. Today we expect a flat opening and the market may be on the wait and see side prior US NFP data. The market may be more volatile after the announcement.

Turkey completed its Sukuk issue with a yield of 9,75% , USD 2,5 bn, 3Y fixed.

*PGSUS TI> The Capital Group Companies sold 122,346 shares yesterday and their share fell below 5%.

 *MPARK TI> bought back 11K shares at an average price of TL54.47 on 6 October 2022. Since 25 May 2022, the total number of shares bought back reached 4.0mn at an average price of TL39.37.

 *THYAO TI> Sep passengers were 7.28 mn 8% more than Sep 2019
