The FETCO plans to submit an appeal to the MOF to voice concerns if the 0.1% transaction tax is implemented. Some prefer the MOF to implement capital gains tax. If investors make more than 1% capital gain and their tax rate is higher than 10%, they may have to pay more tax vs. in a transaction tax regime. Our top picks on the SET are CRC, CPALL, CPN, ADVANC, LH, SPALI, KBANK, PTTEP, KCE, M, STEC, TIDLOR, BCH and RAM.
