KLCI posted its first weekly gain in six weeks, rising by 0.9% wow to 1,450 points. Foreign investors' net sell flows grew 5.2x to RM320m, net selling Petchem and Top Glove. Retail investors remained the largest net buyers last week, net buying Tenaga and Top Glove. Local institutional investors’ weekly net buying grew 96% wow, net buying Petchem and Westports. Petchem, Tenaga and Public Bank were the top three stocks with the highest fund flows last week. Total value of short-selling fell 9.1% wow, with healthcare and technology being the top short sectors.
