SOFIX (573.39) stepped back from its eighteenth months high by declining 0.39% on Wednesday as the precautious retails looked for cash. BGTR30 (612.06, -0.47%) and BGBX40 (125.77, -0.83%) underperformed the benchmark index, while BGREIT (164.22, +0.31%) registered advance for ninth consecutive day in a row. Albena (ALB, BGN 34.20, -4.47%) led the losers in the session, followed by Allterco (A4L, BGN 17.20, -3.91%) and CEZ Distribution (CEZD, BGN 280.00, -3.45%) as the expected entering of Bulgaria in the orange COVID-19 zone and the disappointed announced price for the tender offer for CEZD, triggered some sell-offs in the position. The volumes doubled the 15-days average as buying interest in Chimimport group names increased on Wednesday and improved the data.
