Morning Bulletin - 26 April 2022

SOFIX (635.25) declined 0.24% in the last trading day before the long weekend, remaining close to the monthly highs. Chimimport (CHIM, BGN 0.92, -4.76%), Central Cooperative Bank (CCB, BGN 1.40, -2.78%) and Sopharma Trading (SFT, BGN 4.76, -2.46%) weighed the most on the benchmark index. The extended indexes BGBX40 (147.77, +0.25%) and BGTR30 (742.53, +0.12%) outperformed the main index as Alcomet (ALCM, BGN 8.40, +5.00%), Neochim (NEOH, BGN 57.50, +6.48%) and Emka (EMKA, BGN 4.02, +14.86%) provided significant support on both. A few more block trades with low liquid names, Rodna Zemya (HRZ, BGN 2.84, 0.00%) and Super Borovetz Properties (SBPF, BGN 2.80, 0.00%), slightly improved the daily turnover, which otherwise would have remained far from the 3-months average.
