Mexico – Positive results for jobs in June, although still with room to recover

  • The unemployment rate rose to 3.35% (nsa, previous 3.27%) in June. With sa figures, the rate came in at 3.33% (-3bps)

  • Jobs rose by 281.0k, centered in the informal sector. Wages fell marginally to $48.71 (+4.1% y/y)

  • While downside risks prevail in the short-term, we still expect a positive trend for the rest of the year
