Mexico: Lower House approves the 2023 Spending Budget with few changes

  • In accordance with the Fiscal Responsibility Law, last Friday the Spending Budget was approved

  • The were 2,264 reserves presented, from which only four were approved, without impact the final amount

  • Total resources in the Spending Budget represent a 11.6% increase vs 2022, focused on social programs
