Mexico: IMEF’s PMI surveys – Services rebound while manufacturing more modest

  • The manufacturing PMI fell to 50.1pts (-0.2pts) in October, noting declines in ‘new orders’ and ‘inventories’

  • Non-manufacturing rose to 51.8pts (+0.7pts), with all items higher except ‘employment’ (-0.2pts)

  • Results support our view of more risks coming from abroad, with more resilient domestic demand
