Mexico: Family remittances – Strong inflows remain in June

  • Remittances came in at US$4,440.0 million (+25.5% y/y), better than expected and second highest ever

  • In our view, this was driven by strength in the US economy and sizeable fiscal stimulus

  • We maintain our view of inflows in full-year 2021 between US$48.0 to 48.5 billion, with attention on the US labor market
