Mexico: Aggregate supply and demand – Ending last year on a weak note

  • Aggregate supply and demand grew 0.1% q/q (3.0% y/y), sixth consecutive quarter of the recovery

  • Exports (3.5%) boosted the result and, and to a lesser extent consumption (1.4%), due to better COVID-19 dynamics

  • We maintain our 2022’s GDP forecast at 2.4%, but recent events have tilted the balance of risks further to the downside
