EPS of the company stood at BDT 40.16 (NPAT BDT12,166mn) in FY22, implying c26% decline over BDT 54.21 (NPAT BDT16,422mn) in FY21. Annual earnings of the company underperformed our expectation by c16% yoy.

Q4 FY22 EPS stood at BDT 13.1 against BDT 20.1 in Q4 FY21, thus implying c35% earnings decline yoy. The dent in earnings is like to driven by the gross margin contraction amid the increasing price of raw materials in the international market.

WALTONHIL declared BDT 25/share cash dividend in FY22 for the general shareholder and BDT 15/share cash dividend for the sponsor-shareholders.
